VTC News online newspaper - managed by the Voice of Vietnam Radio - was granted operating license number 993/GP/BTT&TT by the Ministry of Information and Communications on July 7, 2008. The license was reissued as number 382/GP-BTTTT on October 12, 2023.

In addition to its mission of disseminating the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations, VTC News online newspaper consistently adheres to its guiding principles: compassion, people's welfare, and getting to the bottom of issues.

VTC News online newspaper is one of the leading media outlets in Vietnam. In August 2023, VTC News online newspaper was ranked 10th among the largest news media and publishers in Vietnam (Similar web).

Throughout its journey of serving readers from 2008 to the present, with the slogan "The Breath of Life," VTC News has brought stories imbued with the spirit of "people's welfare, compassion, and seeing things through to the end."

VTC News' mission is to contribute to a better and more compassionate society through modern methods closely connected to daily life. We prioritize "humanity," defending justice to the end, empathizing with and sharing the plight of the unfortunate, and bravely and resolutely fighting against evil. VTC News delivers such journalistic products to readers with sophisticated presentation, a unique perspective, a different approach to issues, and the latest online news technologies.

The newspaper staff and many individuals have received Certificates of Commendation from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Voice of Vietnam Radio, and other ministries and agencies...

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

In 2023, VTC News launched the "Helping Those in Need" section, transforming heartwarming stories into a bridge connecting generous hearts with those facing hardship across the country.

Since then, the newspaper has successfully mobilized community support, sending billions of dong through the newspaper to help those in difficult circumstances and critically ill patients who urgently need money for treatment.

The newspaper's charitable work has yielded very positive results. Tens of thousands of students and citizens have received new, spacious schools and homes.
