According to the agenda of the 4th session, from November 16-18, the National Assembly will dedicate 3 days to parliamentary activities. Questioning and answering questionsThe Prime Minister, the Ministers of Finance and Information & Communications, the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, and the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam will take the podium to answer questions.
During this questioning session, many National Assembly deputies expressed their desire for members of the Government and the National Assembly to clarify and provide solutions to issues of public concern.
Through questioning, the capabilities of the National Assembly will be clarified.
Representative Duong Trung Quoc (Dong Nai delegation) stated that, Questioning sessions during the National Assembly's plenary session are a form of supreme oversight. With the support of the media, these sessions will have a very strong impact on the people.
Citizens not only monitor the actions of the Government but also the competence of the National Assembly and its members through their questioning, discussions, and debates.

The people are concerned about a wide range of social and daily life issues and want the National Assembly to clarify them, such as: BOT projects, counterfeit goods, food safety, etc.
When members of the Government and Parliament clarify issues of concern and worry to the people, it enhances their responsibility towards the interests of the people.
Sharing the same view, delegate Tran Hoang Ngan (from Ho Chi Minh City delegation) expressed that every questioning session is "heated," but the key is to ensure that National Assembly delegates, along with the Government, pay attention to the issues raised and suggestions made by the people in many areas of social life.
During the questioning session, delegate Tran Hoang Ngan expressed concern about the state budget and how to ensure and resolve the issue of public debt. He noted that the administrative apparatus in Vietnam is still quite cumbersome, so it is necessary to streamline the system and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the entire political system.

Representative Tran Hoang Ngan (Ho Chi Minh City delegation)
"As a National Assembly representative from Ho Chi Minh City, I have observed that, over the past 30 years of national reform, Ho Chi Minh City has overcome many difficulties and challenges to become a major center for economy, culture, and education, contributing to the development of the country."
However, due to the increasing population density, traffic congestion and strain on infrastructure such as schools and healthcare facilities are becoming more severe. The city is also frequently impacted by climate change, resulting in many streets being regularly flooded.
I hope that relevant departments will have specific mechanisms and policies to ensure the sustainable development of Ho Chi Minh City and improve the quality of life for its citizens.
"In addition, the authority to decentralize and delegate power, and the autonomy to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, should be given the power to decide when adjusting the use of 10 hectares or more of rice land," said delegate Tran Hoang Ngan.
A straightforward, unevasive attitude is needed.
During the questioning session, National Assembly deputies are encouraged to boldly voice their concerns and grievances regarding issues of public interest, with frankness and without avoidance. This was the opinion of Deputy Ngo Duy Hieu (Hanoi delegation).

Delegate Ngo Duy Hieu (Hanoi delegation).
When ministers and heads of sectors answer questions, they should directly address the questions that voters most want answered. This means offering solutions and action programs to overcome shortcomings and weaknesses in each field with a sense of responsibility.
During this questioning session, delegate Ngo Duy Hieu paid particular attention to the judicial activities, the quality of court proceedings, and the enforceability of judgments. This is an issue that we need to address effectively, as mentioned in the 2013 Constitution, to ensure fairness and protect the rights of the people, with the court being a symbol of justice and fairness.
