While harvesting rice, a father and son were struck by lightning, resulting in casualties.

At approximately 3:30 PM on September 2nd, in Phu Lac village, Binh Thanh commune, Tay Son district (Binh Dinh province), a heavy rainstorm accompanied by thunder struck two people harvesting rice in the field, causing injuries and fatalities.

According to witnesses, at the time of the incident, Mr. Huynh Van Nghiep (born in 1971, residing in Phu Lac commune) and his son, Huynh Van Manh, were harvesting rice in the field when heavy rain started.
