At approximately 7 PM tomorrow (November 5th), Typhoon No. 10 will enter the sea area from Quang Ngai to Khanh Hoa.

At 7 PM today (November 4th), the center storm number 10 Located at approximately 14,3 degrees North latitude and 112,7 degrees East longitude, about 300km south-southeast of the Hoang Sa (Paracel) Islands. The strongest winds near the center of the storm are at level 8 (60-75 km/h), with gusts up to level 10. The radius of strong winds from level 6, with gusts from level 8 and above, is approximately 140km from the storm's center.

The forecast for the next 24 hours indicates the storm will move in a west-southwest direction at a speed of approximately 10 km per hour.

As of 7 PM on November 5th, the storm's center was located at approximately 13,9 degrees North latitude and 109,8 degrees East longitude, over the sea area from Quang Ngai to Khanh Hoa. The strongest winds near the storm's center were at level 8 (60-70 km/h), with gusts up to level 10.

Hazardous area due to storm in the South China Sea over the next 24 hours (strong winds from level 6 and above, gusts from level 8 and above): from latitude 12,0 to 16,5 degrees North; west of longitude 114,5 degrees East.

Latest developments of Typhoon No. 10 - 1

Tomorrow evening, Typhoon No. 10 will enter the sea off the coast of provinces from Quang Ngai to Khanh Hoa.

All vessels operating in the hazardous zone are at high risk of being affected by strong gusts of wind.

Over the next 24 to 36 hours, the storm will mainly move west-southwest at a speed of 10-15 km/h, weakening into... tropical depression and moved inland across the provinces from Quang Ngai to Khanh Hoa, then further inland and weakened into a low-pressure area.

As of 7:11 AM on November 6th, the center of the low-pressure area was located at approximately 13,7 degrees North latitude and 108,0 degrees East longitude, over the northern Central Highlands. The strongest winds at the center of the low-pressure area had decreased to below level 6 (below 40 km/h).

From tonight until November 6th, very heavy rain is expected in Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, and Binh Dinh provinces, with total rainfall generally ranging from 250-350mm per period; Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, and Phu Yen provinces will experience heavy rain, with some areas experiencing very heavy rain, with total rainfall generally ranging from 100-200mm per period.

From November 5-7, provinces from Ha Tinh to Quang Tri will experience moderate to heavy rain, with some areas experiencing very heavy rain, with total rainfall generally ranging from 100-200mm per period.
