According to local media, the arrest warrant was issued by Family Court No. 16 in Fortaleza (Ceara state). The reason stems from the accusation that Rocha was late in paying child support of approximately $430 (equivalent to 11,3 million VND).

According to the published documents, this arrest warrant is valid until April 2028. The regulations also state that he will be released 45 days after his detention.
Ricardo Rocha was one of the standout defenders in Brazilian football during the 1980s and 1990s. Despite playing only 64 minutes at the 1994 World Cup due to injury, he was still part of the team that won the championship in the United States.
