The Ancestor Shrine of the Swiftlet Farming Profession is located in Bai Huong, Hon Lao, Cu Lao Cham. This area is famous for its natural swiftlet farming, producing some of the highest quality swiftlet nests in Vietnam. The shrine was erected here with the hope of bringing peace to the people and further development of the swiftlet farming industry.

The Ancestral Temple of the Swiftlet Farming Profession is built in an ancient style, a place of worship for sea gods and revered masters of the swiftlet farming industry. Visiting the temple, you will also have the opportunity to admire the beauty of a rare 200-year-old heritage tree.
- Hai Tang Temple
Hai Tang Pagoda is a temple with a history spanning hundreds of years. Built in an ancient architectural style, it is notable for its elaborately carved walls and columns. Hai Tang Pagoda features a statue of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara in the middle of a lotus pond, and in the summer, the area becomes even more beautiful when the lotuses are in full bloom.

When is the best time to visit Cu Lao Cham Island?
The best time to visit Cham Island is from May to August each year. During this period, the weather is calm, without rain, strong winds, or intense heat, and the air is cool. However, the best time to enjoy the most promotions and discounts is from February to April and from August to October. These periods are not yet peak tourist season, so there are many attractive programs to draw visitors.
Additionally, you can visit during festivals such as the Fishing Festival held in early April of the lunar calendar, and the Ancestor Commemoration Ceremony for the Swiftlet Farming Profession in early March of the lunar calendar.
