Video: Images of the massive fire on the Crime Bridge
On October 8th, the newspaper RIA Novosti Reports indicate a fuel tank caught fire on the Crimean Bridge.
According to Crimea's emergency services, train traffic on the route through the strait has also been suspended.

On Telegram, Oleg Kryuchkov, an advisor on information policy to the head of Crimea, said that a fuel tank had caught fire on one of the sections of the bridge.
"It's too early to say what caused and what happened to the fire. Authorities are working to extinguish it." Oleg Kryuchkov added.
The newspaper Mirror According to British news reports, a large fire broke out on a bridge spanning the Crimean Peninsula, sending smoke and flames billowing into the sky.
Residents in the area said they heard loud explosions around 6 a.m. (local time) on October 8.
The Crimean Bridge is the longest bridge in Russia, measuring 19 km in length. The road section was opened to traffic in May 2018, and the railway section was inaugurated in December 2019.
