This is quite surprising news for Android smartphone and tablet users. However, this beta version will temporarily only be compatible with products running the Android Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) operating system.

Previously, in September 2008, Google simultaneously launched Chrome and Android, but surprisingly, the two names had no connection whatsoever.

At this point, the possibility of Chrome appearing on Android has been confirmed, with the emergence of a video showcasing the Chrome beta version for Android.

Based on what the promotional video revealed, it appears that the Android version of Chrome will include all the features of the desktop version.

There is currently no further information regarding when users will be able to download this version of Chrome.
