The smartphone market has entered a new race as Apple officially introduced the iPhone 6S/iPhone 6S Plus.
1. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge/S6 Edge Plus
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge was introduced in March 2015. And in August, Samsung continued to release the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus version.
It can be seen that this is one of the 'Rival' of iPhone 6s/6s PlusIn terms of specifications, the S6 Edge's screen uses 5,1-inch Super AMOLED technology with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, higher than Full-HD. The SuperAMOLED technology on the S6 Edge has been upgraded and improved. This high-end smartphone boasts a dual camera system consisting of a 16MP main camera and a 5MP secondary camera. The S6 Edge runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, which is said to be more optimized for devices using 64-bit CPUs.
In addition, the S6 uses a 64-bit Samsung Exynos 7420 processor with 8 cores (4 x 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 & 4 x 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57). It also has 3GB of RAM specifically for increased speed.
2. Samsung Galaxy Note 5
Along with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, the Galaxy Note 5 has also just been launched in Vietnam, representing the latest upgrade to the Galaxy Note series. This high-end smartphone will have an official retail price of 17.990.000 VND. Similar to previous generations of Galaxy Note, the Galaxy Note 5 is equipped with a new S Pen stylus, featuring a button for quick removal instead of having to pull it out as before.

The Galaxy Note 5's screen uses Super AMOLED technology, measuring 5,7 inches with Quad HD resolution (2.560 x 1.440 pixels). It integrates an octa-core Exynos processor (4 cores at 2,1 GHz, 4 cores at 1,5 GHz), a 64-bit architecture manufactured using 14 nm technology, and 4 GB of RAM. However, the Galaxy Note 5 version sold in Vietnam during the first two months only had 32 GB of storage.
The phone has a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. A new technological feature of the Galaxy Note 5 compared to its predecessor is wireless fast charging. Compared to the Galaxy Note 4, the Galaxy Note 5 only has a 3.000 mAh battery capacity.
3.Sony Xperia Z5
Sony has officially introduced its trio of flagship smartphones: the Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5, and Xperia Z5 Premium. Very quickly, the first prototype units have appeared in Vietnam.
The new Xperia Z5 trio shares the same OmniBalance design language characteristic of the high-end Xperia line, featuring a unibody metal frame with rounded corners for a luxurious feel.

Similar to previous Sony flagships, the Xperia Z5 also received IP65/68 certification for dust and water resistance. The Z5's specifications are also quite good, featuring a 5,2-inch Full HD display with a pixel density of 423 ppi, and a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with four Cortex-A57 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores arranged in a big.LITTLE architecture.
The remaining specifications of the device include: 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, and expandable storage via microSD card. It will run Android 5.1 Lollipop with Sony's proprietary Xperia UI. It also features a 23 MP main camera, a 5 MP selfie camera, and a 2900 mAh battery.
4. LG G4
Launched in the Vietnamese market around mid-June, the LG G4 boasts a familiar design with buttons located on the back, reducing the size of the device on both sides. The screen occupies 72,5% of the front surface and is considered one of the most compact designs. 'Rival' of iPhone 6s/6s Plus.

Additionally, the LG G4 comes with two back panel options: leather or ceramic, and this back panel can be easily removed to replace the 3.000 mAh battery. In terms of specifications, the most significant upgrade on the G4 is the camera with the largest aperture currently available, f/1.8, resulting in better brightness.
In addition, this camera has a 1/2,6-inch sensor, manual parameter adjustment mode, and laser autofocus. Furthermore, the G4 can also shoot RAW images and has a quick capture feature by double-tapping the volume down button, similar to the Galaxy S6, but with a speed of only 0,6 seconds.
The LG G4 boasts a 5,5-inch screen with a resolution of 2.560 x 1.440 pixels, similar to its predecessor, the LG G3, with a pixel density of 534 ppi. However, it uses the DCI (Digital Cinema Initiatives) color standard, certified by many film studios, offering a wider color gamut than NTSC and sRGB. Furthermore, the highlight of the G4 lies in its Snapdragon 808 processor, which Qualcomm developed specifically for LG.
