Mr. Hoa, from Thu Dau Mot (Binh Duong), said that this year he supplies about 100 pots to the market, each priced at 600.000 VND. Every day family He can only produce about 5 pots. "In the first year, orders have already reached 80%, many customers have placed orders but we can't produce them fast enough because this type of plant takes a lot of time and requires growing seedlings 1-2 years in advance," Mr. Hoa said.

Also reporting that the product was "sold out," Mr. Thang in Vung Tau stopped accepting orders despite the increase in customer demand. "This is the first time I've launched this product this year, so I couldn't fulfill all the orders in time. Therefore, I could only supply about 20 regular customers in the area," Mr. Thang said.

To create the mouse figurines, he had to prepare for six months beforehand. Since it was his first time, he only produced them in limited quantities to fulfill orders, unsure if the market would accept them. However, he promised to release a larger quantity next year with more unique animal designs.

As a large-scale producer, Le Hong Quan (33 years old, Chau Thanh, Ben Tre) has created approximately 1.000 unique rat-shaped coconut bonsai pots and sells them retail for 600.000 VND, while wholesale prices vary depending on the quantity ordered by customers.

According to Anh Quân, all the goods have been ordered by wholesale customers. "Many customers have placed additional orders, but I don't dare accept them because I'm too exhausted and no longer have the strength to produce," Anh Quân said.

According to Mr. Quan, this type of bonsai is very elaborate; the most difficult step is peeling the coconut shell so that the roots are not damaged, the trunk does not break, and the coconut shell remains smooth and shiny. Coconut bonsai shaped like animals must be "nurtured" for about 6 months in a soil pot to ensure the roots are healthy, growing 15-20 cm above the ground, and only those meeting the standards are selected to be potted.

Currently, he has two types of coconut bonsai shaped like mice, in both standing and sitting forms. The standing form is created from tall-rooted coconut bonsai, while the sitting form is made from short-rooted coconut bonsai. Although there are only two forms, standing and sitting, Mr. Quan creates many different designs such as a thoughtful mouse, a charming mouse, a mouse carrying a school bag, a hamster, etc.

To create the mouse figures, the bonsai coconut trees, after their roots have been nurtured, are glued together with cut coconut shells, and each detail is assembled. Only the mouse's eyes are not made from coconut shells and must be purchased from a store.
