POCO launches its first tablet.

(VTC News) -

POCO, a brand specializing in smartphone manufacturing, has just introduced its first tablet with a 12,1-inch screen, 2,5K resolution, and a price tag of $329.

The POCO Pad, POCO's first tablet (POCO being a sub-brand specializing in budget smartphones under Xiaomi), was recently launched in Dubai alongside the F6 and F6 Pro smartphones. This tablet features a 12,1-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,5K resolution, along with TÜV Rheinland certification for three layers of eye protection, and a four-speaker system supporting Dolby Atmos.

The device features a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor optimized for the HyperOS operating system. The Home Screen+ feature allows for drag-and-drop content sharing between devices, or the use of Smart Hub to manage and control up to seven devices simultaneously, including a wide range of smart home products within the Xiaomi ecosystem.

The POCO Pad is compatible with a wide range of peripheral accessories.

The POCO Pad's design isn't drastically different from most tablets in the same segment today, but it uses an ultra-thin unibody metal construction instead of plastic. It comes in two color options: Graphite Gray or Ocean Blue. The included battery has a capacity of 10.000 mAh, supports 33W fast charging, and is compatible with various smart accessories such as the POCO Smart Pen, Pad Keyboard, and Pad Cover.

Immediately after its launch in Dubai, the company also announced the price for the Vietnamese market: the 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage version is priced at 8,69 million VND, available in two colors. The price announced at the event was 329 USD, with no significant difference.

Launching on the same stage were the POCO F6 and F6 Pro phones, both powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, Qualcomm's high-end mobile processor currently found in many flagship phones from other manufacturers on the market. Both feature a 5.000 mAh battery for extended usage time. The F6 uses 90W fast charging, while the Pro version reaches a maximum of 120W.

The POCO F6 Pro runs on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and supports fast charging up to 120W.

The POCO F6 Pro boasts many premium features such as a Flow AMOLED WQHD+ 120 Hz display with 2K resolution, a maximum brightness of 4.000 nits, 3.840 Hz PWM dimming, and TÜV Rheinland eye protection certification, a camera sensor system with Dual Native ISO Fusion technology, Burst Mode 2.0, and POCO Imaging Engine and Ultra Night algorithms.

Unlike the F6 Pro, the F6 version is equipped with a 6,67-inch CrystalRes 120Hz Flow AMOLED DotDisplay screen, with a maximum brightness of 2.400 nits and 68 billion colors, and a 1,5K resolution. It has three 50MP cameras, including an IMX882 ultra-wide sensor with an f/1.59 aperture, enhancing light capture capabilities.
