Patient 2576 Patient BN2576, a 25-year-old male, is a Vietnamese citizen residing in Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province. The patient entered Vietnam from France via Noi Bai Airport on March 9th and was immediately quarantined in Hanoi.
The second test result on March 23rd was positive for SARS-CoV-2. The patient is currently isolated and receiving treatment at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Dong Anh facility.

According to a report by the Treatment Subcommittee of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, Vietnam has currently cured 2.235 COVID-19 patients.
Among the patients currently being treated in our country, 36 have tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 on the first test. In addition, 17 have tested negative on the second test and 35 patients have tested negative on the third test.
The number of deaths from COVID-19 in our country to date is 35, including 31 in Da Nang, 3 in Quang Nam, and 1 in Quang Tri.
The majority of them are elderly people with severe underlying conditions such as end-stage chronic kidney disease, end-stage leukemia unresponsive to chemotherapy, coronary artery syndrome, acute respiratory failure, multiple joint degeneration, hypertension, chronic adrenal insufficiency, type 2 diabetes, sepsis, pneumonia, debilitation, and multiple organ failure.
