The USD exchange rate continued to rise by another 10 VND/USD today and is currently at a very high level; the State Bank of Vietnam stated: "Whether the USD increases or decreases depends on the market; sometimes it rises, sometimes it falls. Unless there are major market fluctuations or new policies, the State Bank of Vietnam will not issue specific announcements."
