The investigation revealed that in December 2021, Mr. P. asked Ho Duc Hung to help his younger brother, who was being prosecuted by the police for illegal detention, avoid prosecution.

Hearing Hung boast about his extensive connections, Mr. P. trusted him and gave him 450 million VND. Later, knowing that his younger brother was still facing criminal charges, Mr. P. tried to contact Hung but couldn't, so he reported the matter to the police.

Following an investigation, the Tan Phu District Police have initiated a criminal case for fraud and appropriation of property. Because Hung absconded, the investigating agency has issued an arrest warrant.
