According to the Provincial Police Ha TinhAt 3:35 PM on May 20th, at Km 583 + 300 on National Highway 1A, in the Nhan Thang residential area (Hoanh Son ward, Ha Tinh province), a road traffic accident occurred between a motorbike with license plate 38K2-5813 driven by Ms. Le Thi N. (born 1961, residing in Nhan Thang residential area, Hoanh Son ward, Ha Tinh province) traveling in the North-South direction and a motorbike with an unknown license plate driven by an unidentified man.
After the collision, both men on the motorbike left the scene. Ms. Le Thi Nghiem suffered a head injury and was taken to Ky Anh General Hospital for emergency treatment. The motorbike with license plate 38K2-5813 sustained minor damage.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Hoanh Son Ward Police, in coordination with the Traffic Police Department of Ha Tinh Provincial Police and the Office of the Criminal Investigation Agency of Ha Tinh Provincial Police (PC01), promptly implemented a comprehensive set of professional measures, collected witness statements, and tracked down the vehicles involved.

After 24 hours of intensive searching, the task force identified the driver of the motorcycle with license plate 73E1-430.45 involved in the accident on the afternoon of May 20th as Phan Thanh Long (born in 2000, residing in Trung Thuan commune, Quang Tri province). At the time of the accident, Long was carrying Nguyen Van Can (born in 1997, also residing in Trung Thuan commune).
During questioning, Phan Thanh Long and Nguyen Van Can admitted to their violations. Currently, the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ha Tinh Provincial Police is compiling a file to handle the case.
The Ha Tinh Provincial Police advises citizens to strictly comply with traffic regulations. In the event of an accident, remain calm, stay at the scene, cooperate in transporting the injured to the hospital, and report the incident to the authorities for proper handling.
