The groundbreaking ceremony took place in the context of Ho Chi Minh City's accelerated development of social housing and rental housing in accordance with the central and government's guidelines, aiming to address the social security needs of low-income earners and policy beneficiaries. The city aims to develop an additional 181.257 social housing units, including approximately 50.000 rental housing units, during the period 2026-2030.

Located in Long Truong ward, Dragon E-Home is one of the prominent large-scale new-generation social housing projects in the eastern part of Ho Chi Minh City.

Built on nearly 19.000 m² of land with a construction density of only 40%, the project comprises 6 eight-story towers, offering 764 diverse apartment types including Studio, 1-bedroom, 1-bedroom + 1, 2-bedroom, and 2-bedroom + 1 units ranging in size from 25 m² to 69 m², along with 34 commercial units for rent.

Planned by Surbana Jurong (Singapore), Dragon E-Home aims to be a new generation social housing model with optimized functionality, green living spaces, and diverse amenities such as a riverside park, swimming pool, children's playground, and commercial and service area.

The project also benefits from the complete ecosystem of amenities in the Dragon Village urban area, including green parks, tropical gardens, landscaped lakes, outdoor sports fields, etc., and offers convenient access to schools, hospitals, shopping centers, and essential services within a radius of approximately 3 km.

In terms of connectivity, with its strategic location at the heart of the East Saigon area, the project is directly linked to major arteries such as the Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Expressway; connecting roads to Ring Road 3, Lien Phuong, Nguyen Duy Trinh, Vo Chi Cong, Song Hành, or the Cat Lai - Phu Huu inter-port road expected to start construction in Q4/2026; and Metro Line 5 (Thu Thiem – Long Thanh).
