On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Speaker of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man We acknowledge, appreciate, and warmly commend all journalists nationwide, especially the authors and groups of authors honored and awarded today.
According to the Chairman of the National Assembly, our country is entering a new stage of development, with great opportunities and advantages, but also facing many new difficulties and challenges; the press must be at the forefront of innovation to shoulder greater responsibilities. Journalists must never forget the core values of revolutionary journalism, which are ideals, absolute loyalty to the Party and the Fatherland, and a close, inseparable bond with the people, placing national and ethnic interests above all else.
The Chairman of the National Assembly emphasized the request of General Secretary and President To Lam in his article "Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism in the Digital Age," which is: The press must be a place where people turn when needed... Society needs a trustworthy place to understand the truth. People need to know what happened, why it happened, who was affected, who is responsible, and what solutions are well-founded.
The Chairman of the National Assembly emphasized that the press must more strongly and effectively disseminate the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; spread the spirit of innovation and creativity, and encourage all strata of the people to actively participate in the cause of national development.
The press must be the leading force in protecting the Party's ideological foundation and combating erroneous and hostile viewpoints. Wherever distorted and reactionary rhetoric appears, the press will strongly refute it; wherever there is misinformation and erroneous ideology, the press will speak the truth and strengthen faith.

Every journalist must possess strong political conviction, impeccable professional ethics, high professional competence, and technological proficiency to keep pace with the volatile and challenging media environment; they must enhance their ability to critically analyze policies, guide public opinion, and transform the Party's guidelines and the State's laws into awareness, belief, and action throughout the entire population and society.
Every journalist must remember the words of beloved President Ho Chi Minh: Whenever writing an article, ask yourself who you are writing for, what the purpose of writing is, and how to write it in a way that is accessible, easy to understand, concise, and easy to read.
"The Party, the State, and the People always trust that the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press will continue to develop professionally, humanely, and modernly, using its sharp pen to serve the Fatherland and the People." The Speaker of the National Assembly affirmed this.
