The health benefits of pork fat
Pork fat has long been a familiar ingredient in cooking. It has a pleasant aroma and enhances the flavor of dishes. However, with the advent of cooking oil, pork fat has been largely forgotten. Below are some of the health benefits of pork fat:
Regulating the five internal organs.
Pork fat can nourish five internal organs, especially the spleen and stomach, enhancing digestive function and stimulating appetite. Therefore, people with weak spleens and stomachs, poor appetite, and thin physiques can consume pork fat in moderation.
Nourishes and soothes the lungs.
Pork fat has a moisturizing effect on the lungs. The development of human skin and hair depends on the nourishment of the lungs; adding pork fat to the diet helps nourish the lungs, indirectly promoting the growth of skin and hair.
Detoxification and bowel regularity
This food helps eliminate cantharidin, a toxin found in alcohol. Additionally, pork fat helps reduce jaundice, promotes bowel movements, and prevents constipation.
