An additional 1.020 COVID-19 cases have been reported.

The Ministry of Health announced on the afternoon of October 4th that the country recorded an additional 1.020 COVID-19 cases, an increase of 224 cases compared to yesterday.

Ngày 4/10, nước ta có 805 bệnh nhân COVID-19 được công bố khỏi bệnh, nâng tổng số ca được điều trị khỏi đến nay là 10.593.986 ca.

Số bệnh nhân đang thở oxy là 57 người, trong đó, có 45 thở oxy qua mặt nạ, 4 người thở oxy dòng cao HFNC, 1 ca thở máy không xâm lấn và 7 ca thở máy xâm lấn.

The total number of COVID-19 deaths in Vietnam to date is 43.151, representing 0,4% of the total number of infections.

The total number of deaths ranks 26th out of 230 territories, and the number of deaths per million people ranks 138th out of 230 countries and territories worldwide.

Compared to other Asian countries, the total number of deaths ranks 7th out of 49 (3rd in ASEAN), and the number of deaths per million people ranks 28th out of 49 Asian countries and territories (5th in ASEAN).

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Vietnam has recorded 11.482.334 infections, ranking 13th out of 230 countries and territories. In terms of the number of infections per million people, Vietnam ranks 115st out of 230 countries and territories (an average of 116.038 infections per million people).

On April 3th, 18.113 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered. This brings the total number of doses administered to 260.228.227.
