Dr. Le Van Thuc stated that this was a case of severe multiple injuries, with a high risk of rapid deterioration if not treated promptly. Continuous assessment and close coordination among multiple specialties helped doctors determine the correct time for treatment, minimizing complications.

Based on clinical monitoring and paraclinical results, the doctors observed that the left pleural effusion was complicated and posed a risk of prolonged lung compression, so they decided to perform thoracoscopic surgery to remove the blood clot, irrigate, and drain the left pleural cavity.

The surgery was performed urgently, quickly removing the hematoma in the pleural cavity, relieving the compressed lung, and improving the patient's respiratory function.

Dr. Mai Tien Dung shared that, in cases of multiple injuries, in addition to medical treatment, psychological care and support are also needed for patients during treatment, especially foreign patients.

After a period of intensive treatment, the patient's condition has stabilized, he is conscious, his breathing has improved, and he is continuing to be monitored for recovery.
